Gorilla Gaming becomes the “Official Poker Table of the World Series of Poker”!

Only 5 short years ago, Gorilla Gaming spun off from Eastern Poker Tour, and became its own company and brand.  We work extremely hard in brining everyone we work with a top quality product at a great price, but we never imagined our table designs and purchasing experience would become so well received!  We have been blessed to have our tables be used in some of the world’s most luxurious casinos, television productions, and some of the biggest brands in poker.

In the spring of 2019, the World Series of Poker came knocking, looking to start upgrading their fleet of aging tables into the future.  These tables were to be equipped with USB Ports integrated IN the table without a rats nest of cords and adapters, our Gorilla Legs,  9 Cupholders, a Deckmate 2 Shuffler, and color changing LED rail… and of course be light and portable enough to breakdown and set-up their temporary “Epicenter of the Poker World” at the Amazon Room.  Oh, and you have 30 days to do it…

The good news for us was, we had exactly the perfect table, our “Alpha Series – USB Table” was built for that exact purpose in mind and was already being used by Pokerstars LIVE for their well known Festivals held around the world.

Typically each table should take about 2 days to complete based on our output capacity and how many features on are these tables.  Our full staff, as well as calling in some big favors from temporary staff, friends and even family!   We worked around the clock, 2 shifts a day, 7 days a week, for 4 weeks straight building some of the most feature rich tournament tables the poker world has ever seen!  Just in the nick of time, we shipped off 30 of our favorite offspring to Vegas to become the platform for thousands of player most memorable poker moments!

We arrived on site of the Rio a few days prior to Event 1.  The Rio Conference room was in a state we have never seen it before, entirely empty.  Not a single player, table, or chair.  Just some enormous and empty rooms waiting to be filled.  This quickly changed in the 5 days we were there for set-up and by the time we left to head back home, nearly 90% of the tables, cages, lighting, cameras, television set, and much more was nearing completion!

As part of the experience, we also put up a Gorilla Gaming Booth right at the heart of the WSOP.  Our goal was to introduce ourselves to the poker world, for those that didn’t already know of Gorilla Gaming, and also interact with some of you that already have one of our tables!  At least one GG Staff member was available every day at the WSOP to discuss tables, table design, or even listen to a bad beat story or two.

The good news, 2019 went off tremendously.  The tables could not have been more well received.   We absolutely blew away the WSOP staff and players with our tables!  The tables looked amazing in the room, they were very easy to play on and deal, and were very spacious for the 9-handed games they were planned for.  With our Gorilla Gaming Troops at the WSOP, we also had a great opportunity to meet some customers as well as meet some new customers.
